A laser scalpel reduces post operative swelling and bleeding. It reduces trauma to surrounding tissues. As a result, recovery from routine surgeries (e.g., spays, neuters) is typically more comfortable, faster and more cosmetic. The use of the laser scalpel allows excision of vascular tumors which would have otherwise been irremovable.
